Mount Merapi, in central Java Indonesia, has erupted on Tuesday 26 oktober 2010, spewing plumes of hot ash and rocks. These hot ash and rocks with lava caused major destruction to the nearby villages. Mount Merapi eruption is one of the three natural disasters to hit Indonesia over the past few daysHundreds of people are still missing days after several remote Indonesian islands were hit by a deadly tsunami in Mentawai.
Saterday 11 december there wil be a benefit concert in the centre of Groningen. Please come and support all the victims of this violence of nature. All fund raised will be donated to the red cross organisation in Indonesia.
